LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - In the last weekend before winter break, six of the eight Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference men's basketball teams were in action.
The Austin College 'Roos kept things rolling this week, posting a pair of wins over Paul Quin College and Millsaps College to move to 8-0 on the season. This is the first time a SCAC men's basketball team has had an 8-0 start since Birmingham Southern College did it during the 2009-2010 season.
Trinity University (3-6) had a winning weekend, picking up three victories at home in the Trinity Holiday Classic. Texas Lutheran University (7-2) split their games at the tournament, while Schreiner Unviersity (4-5) picked up a pair of wins in San Antonio.
