KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Soccer Coaches Association of America released the seventh poll of the year Tuesday, and two Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference men’s soccer teams remained in the top 25.
Trinity University (15-2, 11-2 SCAC) made a huge leap, jumping to No. 7 in the poll, while Colorado College (12-2-2, 10-1-1 SCAC) dropped two spots to No. 16, despite a 4-0 win this weekend.
Trinity took down Southwestern University and Texas Lutheran University over the weekend, earning wins of 2-0 and 4-1, respectively.
Colorado College defeated Austin College 4-0 on the road, but passing storms results in the postponement of their game against Centenary on Sunday.
Trinity is ranked No. 3 in the D3soccer.com rankings, while Colorado College enters that poll for the first time this year at No. 24.
The two teams will finish the conference season this weekend and will head to the 2015 SCAC Men’s Soccer Tournament November 6-8 in Colorado Springs.
