LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Week eight of the 2018 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference volleyball scheduled continued with all nine teams in action highlighted by the SCAC A-C Divisional Crossover and B Divisional meeting hosted by Trinity and Austin College respectively.
No. 4 Colorado College evened its regular season series with a win over No. 9 Trinity in San Antonio. CC went on to complete the weekend sweep with wins over Texas Lutheran and Schreiner. Trinity, who suffered its first conference defeat of the season, finished the weekend with victories over Johnson & Wales and Dallas.
Dallas earned a pair of victories last week against Schreiner and Arlington Baptist. Texas Lutheran posted 2-1 marks over the weekend after collecting wins against Johson & Wales and Dallas.
Schreiner went 1-4 earning its lone victory agianst Johnson & Wales.
In Sherman, Southwestern posted a perfect week with wins over Centenary and Austin College. The Ladies also put forth a winning effort against Austin College to improve to 1-1 for the week.
The conference portion of the SCAC volleyball schedule concludes next weekend headlined by the A-B Divisional Crossover hosted by Centenary.
