Dallas Men Defeat Schreiner in SCAC Quarterfinal Action

SEGUIN, Texas - In a game that featured seven ties and 20 lead changes, it was the University of Dallas that was left standing when the dust cleared as the fifth-seeded Crusaders knocked off fourth-seeded Schreiner University, 68-64, in Friday's first quarterfinal game of the 2019 SCAC Men's Basketball Tournament. Official Tournament WebsitePost-game Interview w/Univ. of Dallas

With 16 seconds remaining, the Mountaineers' Matthew Rindahl was long on a three-pointer from the corner that would have tied the game, and the Crusaders' Michael Wambsganns - after securing the rebound and being fouled - hit one of two free throws to ice the win.
