LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Southwestern sophomore attack/midfielder Zac Asbury was named to the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA)/Warrior and New Balance Div. III Team of the Week, it was announced by the association on Tuesday, February 12th.
The Thousand Oaks, Calif. native kicked off his sophomore season with a bang last week as he scored two goals and dished out eight assists for 10 total points in the Pirates’ season-opening 20-11 win over Huntingdon. His performance marked the third time in his career Asbury hit double-digit points in a single game and was one-point shy of tying a career-high.
The Pirates open the road portion of their schedule this Friday with a 7:00 p.m. contest against SAA-foe Birmingham-Southern.
