Reigning SCAC champion Colin Uecker of Texas Lutheran along with Southwestern's Matthew Christl, Cade Osgood and Sutherland Stith nabbed all-region accolades in the west.
Osgood and Uecker each earn their second-straight nod while Christl and Stith take home their first. All four honorees are also semi-finalists for the Jack Nicklaus National Player of the Year award.
Currently ranked ninth in the nation in the golfstat.com individual player rankings for Div. III, Uecker notched five tournament wins this season and posted an adjusted scoring average of 71.80. The senior is the second Bulldog in program history to receive an individual invitation to the NCAA Tournament. Uecker is 23-1 against top-100 opponents and 3-0 against top-25 opponents.
The Southwestern trio of Osgood, Christl and Stith led the Pirates to their sixth NCAA Tournament bid in seven seasons. Over the course of the regular season, Southwestern collected three tournament titles.
Osgood paced the Pirate effort with an adjusted scoring average of 72.69. Ranked 15th in the nation, the junior tallied three second-place finishes and is 55-12 against top 100 opponents.
Christl, currently ranked 28th, racked up a pair of second-place performances at the Abilene Intercollegiate Invitational and the Linda Lowry Invitational, tallying a 73.16 adjusted scoring average.
Stith is ranked 32nd in the nation with an adjusted scoring average of 73.25. The senior posted his season-best performance at the West Region Invite where he finished fourth.
