Tomorrow's final 18 holes will begin at 8 a.m. on the par-72, 6,864-yard layout.
With two rounds in the books, Dallas is sitting at 590 (+14) after consecutive rounds of 295. With one round to go, the Crusaders are chasing history as a team victory would not only be the program's first-ever SCAC golf title but the school's first conference title in any sport.
Dallas is seven shots clear of Texas Lutheran University, who finished with a two-round total of 597 (+21) and 16 ahead of seventh-ranked Southwestern University, who has a 36-hole total of 606 (+30). Rounding out the team standings, Schreiner University is in fourth with a 617 (+41), Trinity University is fifth with a 627 (+51), Centenary College is sixth with a 650 (+74) and newcomer Johnson & Wales University is seventh with a two-round total of 699 (+123).
TLU's Colin Uecker sits atop the individual leaderboard after rounds of 71 and 70 left him at 141 and three under for the tournament, leaving him as the only player that remains under par. Dallas players occupy the next three slots on the leaderboard as Emilio Montalvo is second with a 144 (E), Erik Hamm is third with a 146 (+2) and Jacob Wade is fourth with a 147 (+3).
