LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Week five of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference volleyball schedule saw all nine programs collect victories in a week highlighted by the A-C Divisional Crossover.
No. 13 Trinity handed No. 2 Colorado College its first loss of the season. Trinity went on to complete the weekend sweep to remain unbeaten in conference play after adding wins against Dallas and Johnson & Wales. Colorado College finished the weekend 2-1 with wins over Schreiner and Texas Lutheran.
Dallas went 2-2 at the Divisional Crossover with wins against Schreiner and Johnson & Wales.
Johnson & Wales earned its first victory of the season in SCAC action against TLU but finished the week 1-3. Texas Lutheran and Schreiner also posted 1-3 marks.
Austin College beat two non-conference opponents in Arlington Baptist and Howard Payne during the week but over the weekend fell against Ouchita Baptist, Hardin-Simmons and McMurry.
Centenary went 1-1 last week with a victory over LeTourneau. Southwestern also had a 1-1 record earning its victory over Our Lady of the Lake.
The conference portion of the SCAC volleyball schedule continues on Thursday when Trinity hosts Texas Lutheran.
