LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – Three of the leagues four teams were in action last week during week four of the SCAC men’s lacrosse season.
In its lone game of the week, Colorado College (2-2) defeated MAC opponent Widener, 21-8, on Saturday. Sophomore John Sutro and junior Coby Petau each rang up a hat trick to lead the Tigers to victory. Sutro finished with a game-high 10 points, adding a season-best seven assists. Senior Tyler Borko also contributed with five points on two goals and three assists. Junior Andrew Harwood managed the majority of minutes between the posts for CC recording eight saves in just over 50 minutes of action.
Dallas fell to Chatham, 20-8, last Sunday in its lone game of the week. Freshman Tucker Jameson who completed the hat-trick of the year while classmate Cole Griffin collected a season-best 25 saves in the cage for the Crusaders.
At the beginning of the week, Johnson & Wales was defeated by Northland, 24-2. Senior Deshaunte Longley and junior Coleton Threlkeld each registed a goal in the loss.
The SCAC men's lacrosse season picks up Monday when Southwestern hosts Trine at 7:00 pm CST.
