Esther Bowers clinched the match for Southwestern at No. 2 with a 6-0, 6-4 victory against Austin College's Diana Carvajalino.
The Pirates will take on Trinity University in tomorrow's championship match and will be seeking to snap the Tigers' seven-year stranglehold on the SCAC crown. That match will be played at 8 a.m. at the Russell Tennis Center on the campus of Austin College.
