Trinity sophomore Katie Griffith lost 6-1, 6-2 to eighth-seeded Grace Baljon of Williams in the opening round of the 32-draw singles tournament.

Ranked sixth in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association West Region, Griffith finished the season with a 13-11 singles record, and was 12-4 against Division III opponents. She played most of the year at No. 2 singles for the Tigers in dual matches, but also held a 3-1 record in the No. 1 slot.

DePauw junior Janelle Arita was defeated 6-0, 6-2, by sophomore Courtney Chin of Carnegie Mellon in the opening round of singles play.
