MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference had Oglethorpe University junior Todd Ward and Centre College senior Danny Noll named to the 2009-10 D3hoops.com preseason All-American teams.
Ward was named to the second-team while Noll was named an honorable-mention preseason All-American.
Last season Ward was named All-SCAC First-Team while averaging a double-double with 17.0 points per game and 10.2 rebounds per game. He ranked second in the conference in scoring and his 10.2 rebounds per game led the league. Ward also ranked second in the SCAC with a .557 field goal percentage.
Noll helped lead the Colonels to the SCAC championship in 2008-09 and was named All-SCAC First Team while averaging 16.0 points per game and 5.7 rebounds per game. His 16.0 points per game ranked fourth in the conference and was fifth in the league shooting .515 from the floor.
