Former Trinity Tennis Star in Flyover at AFC Divisional Game

SAN DIEGO, Calif. - Marine Capt. Jeff Mueller, a former Trinity University men's tennis All-American, conducted a jet fighter flyover Sunday, prior to the AFC Divisional game between the San Diego Chargers and New York Jets.

Capt. Mueller, a 2000 Trinity graduate, flew the F/A-18 (Dash 4 aircraft - No. 4 in the flight) over Qualcomm Stadium before the game.

He was an All-America tennis player at Trinity in 1999 (as well as the SCAC Player of the Year), and was team captain of the  Tigers' NCAA Division III Championship squad in 2000. Capt. Mueller was also elected the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Year, in 1999.

Capt. Mueller is assigned to Marine Corps Air Station Miramar.
