Southwestern to play first men's NCAA home lacrosse game in state of Texas

GEORGETOWN, Texas - This Saturday, history will be made. The Southwestern University lacrosse team will play the first NCAA home men's lacrosse contest in the state of Texas. The match will begin at 1 p.m. CT.

College TV Ticket, in conjunction with University of Texas (Texas Student Television), is televising the historic contest, and Southwestern University is giving away commemorative t-shirts to the first 150 fans.

Coach Joe Ernst's Southwestern Pirates will face off against Coach Vinnie Lang's Thunder at 1:00 pm on Saturday, March 13, 2010. Pre-game will start at 12:55 pm. The game will be webcast live from the Southwestern campus and aired later on Austin TV.
