MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - Trinity University punter
Kevin Trella was selected to the D3football.com Team of the Week
for games played the seventh week of the 2009 regular
season.
Trella, a 5-11, 164-pound first-year punter from
Chandler, Ariz., punted five times for 244 yards in Saturday's 40-0
shutout of Sewanee, averaging 48.8 yards/punt. Of his five punts,
three were inside the 20 yard line.
The punting average broke a 46-year-old school record for a single
game, and Trella had two punts of 60 yards or more
in the second half.
