DePauw set to host NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships

GREENCASTLE, Ind. - The 2010 NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships will be held March 12-13 on the campus of DePauw University. Competition takes place on the James A. Hollensteiner Track in the DePauw Indoor Tennis and Track Center.

The Championships will feature a field of 446 student-athletes which will be announced on March 8, 2010.

The official Championships Web site will provide links to live streaming video and results during competition.

Thanks to NCAA Enhancement Funds DePauw will also provide links to archived video of each event and action photographs of each individual competing in the Championships. Those links will also be available from the official site.

"We're excited to host the track championships again," DePauw Director of Athletics Page Cotton said. "DePauw has had a strong history of hosting NCAA events and we're looking forward to again showcasing the University."

DePauw served as host to the 2003 Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships. In the last decade, the University has also served as NCAA postseason hosts in softball, men's and women's basketball, men's and women's soccer, men's and women's tennis.

"We look forward to welcoming the best of Division III to DePauw and Greencastle," DePauw track and cross country coach Kori Stoffregen said.
