MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - Millsaps College punter William Lawrimore and DePauw University safety Thomas Wrona were named to the D3football.com Team of the Week for week five.
Lawrimore had five punts for a 46.2-yard average in a loss at DePauw, including two inside the 20 and a season-long 62-yarder. On the year, Lawrimore has placed 13 punts inside the 20 (four inside the five), tops in the SCAC.
Wrona had seven tackles, six solo, and also stopped Millsaps from two-point conversion with his tackle inside the 5-yard line with 3:37 left. The defense held Millsaps to 20 rushing yards which was its lowest output since 2006.
