LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Four of the league's seven Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference women's swimming teams have hit the pool for 2017-18 season-opening action.
McMurry Uniersity defeated Austin College in a season-opening dual meet between the two conference competitors this past Saturday.
Centenary College has swam in duals against Ouachita Baptist and fellow-SCAC member University of the Ozarks as well as Hendrix College.
Ozarks, other than its duals with Ouachita Baptist and Centenary, competed against Tabor College and Williams Baptist in double-duals this past weekend.
Trinity University sent its divers to the Kenyon College Relay Invite where first-year Glenys Winfiele and senior Christine Peterson were runners-up on the women's 1-meter board, at 403.35. Peterson and first-year Bella Peters placed second on the high board, with a 325.30.
