LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - After mother nature rolled through last week, the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference baseball teams got back on track, posting a cumulative record of 11-6.
After falling in a series against UT-Tyler last week, Texas Lutheran University bounced back to sweep a series against McMurry University. The Bulldogs moved to 12-3 with the wins.
Trinity University earned its first loss of the season to MIT on Friday, but rebounded to win the series against the Engineers with victories on Saturday and Sunday. The Tiger also earned a win earlier in the week against Mary Hardin-Baylor. Trinity is now 8-1 on the season.
The University of Dallas went 2-1 against Texas Wesleyan University, earning wins in the first two games of the series, but falling in the final contest 5-4 in 11 innings.
The Mountaineers of Schreiner University earned a series win against Dallas Christian at home, including a huge 13-1 victory in the first game of the series.
Austin College collected the final win of the week for SCAC programs, defeating Sul Ross State in the second contest of a three-game series.
