LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - All eight teams traveled to Seguin, Texas to compete in the first SCAC Cross-Divisional of the season.
No. 2 Colorado College defeated both No. 4 Trinity and No. 5 Southwestern. The Tigers swept Trinity 3-0 and needed five sets to defeat the Pirates, 3-2, on Sunday. Colorado remains undefeated on the season at 18-0 and is off to its best start in program history - besting the previous mark of 17 which was set in 2013 when CC finished with a ledger of 35-5 and advanced to the regional final of the NCAA Tournament.
Both Southwestern's and Trinity's only loss at the SCAC Cross-Divisional was to Colorado - but the Pirates dropped a 3-2 non-conference decision to Our Lady of the Lake on Tuesday. The host school, Texas Lutheran, also posted a 3-1 mark, with its only loss also coming to Colorado College.
