LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Trinity University swimmer Jacob Hurrell-Zitelman was named to the Google Cloud Academic All-District® Team, selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
The 2017-18 Google Cloud Academic All-District® Men's At-Large Team recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the playing field and in the classroom.
Hurrell-Zitelman, a sophomore on the Tigers' swim team, boasts a perfect 4.0 grade point average. In the pool, Hurrell-Zitelman was named the SCAC Swimmer of the Meet for the second year in a row after winning the 1650 freestyle, 500 freestyle and the 400 individual medley at the conference championships.
First-team Academic All-District® honorees advance to the Google Cloud Academic All-America® ballot, with Google Cloud Academic All-America® teams announced in June.
The Google Cloud Academic All-District® teams include the student-athletes listed on the following pages and are divided into eight geographic districts across the United States and Canada. The Google Cloud Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and College Division. The College Division includes all NAIA, Canadian, two-year schools and other affiliations.
