LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - After a huge weekend for the 'Roos, Austin College freshman Justice Mercadel has earned a spot on the D3hoops.com Team of the Week.
Mercadel had a strong performance over the weekend, averaging 25.5 points, 10.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists, and 4.5 steals-per-game while shooting 59% from the field and 60% from long distance.
The guard had a career game in a narrow loss to Trinity, scoring 31 points with 15 rebounds - both career-highs. In the 'Roos game against Schreiner on Friday night, Mercadel scored 20 points, while grabbing six rebounds and six steals, dishing out four assists and recording two blocks.
Mercadel is the fifth SCAC men's basketball player to earn D3hoops.com Team of the Week recognition this year. To see the full team, click here.
