LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Two Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference men's golf teams were in action this week as Dallas and Schreiner competed at the UT-Tyler/Al Jones Memorial.
Schriener finished in third place in the six-team field with a team score of 920 while Dallas followed in fourth place at 930. The three-round event was contested over Monday and Tuesday at Hollytree Country Club in Tyler, Texas.
Junior Jason Lopez paced the Mountaineers with a three-round score of 227 (+11) and finished tied for seventh among individuals. Junior Thomas Schuberg of Dallas also shot a 227 after a personal-best 70 in the third round.
Host UT-Tyler won the event with a team score of 906 while California Lutheran was second at 918.
