LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Six of the eight men's basketball teams in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference competed last week, posting a 6-5 cumulative record.
The University of Dallas continued its strong performance over the weekend, going 2-0 in non-conference action, including a win over future SCAC member Johnson & Wales University. The Crusaders won both games by double digits.
UD's Spencer Levi had a dominant week, breaking the University of Dallas' single-game blocked shots record with nine against JWU on Saturday. The first-year player also tallied four in the team's first game of the week.
There was a block party in Irving last week as @UDallasSports' Spencer Levi averaged 6.5 blocks per game, including nine in the Crusaders' win over JWU. Nine blocks is the most for a #SCACmbb player since 2008. pic.twitter.com/15lZduxchB
