LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - All eight Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference men's soccer teams were in action with conference matches at Colorado College and Centenary highlighting Week 2 play.
Austin College blanked Centenary, 2-0, in Shreveport while Dallas and Colorado College battled to a scoreless draw in Colorado Springs in a match that, after being delayed for over two hours due to lightning in the area, had to be stopped after one overtime period due to darkness.
After an impressive opening week where the the league posted a combined 11-3-1, SCAC men's teams stumbled to a 3-6-1 mark in Week 2. Only 12th-ranked Trinity University, who went 2-0 with wins over Hardin-Simmons (1-0) and UT-Dallas (2-1), and Colorado College, who defeated Chapman (4-0), posted wins over the week.
