LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - All seven Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference women's soccer teams took on conference opponents last week.
Trinity University moved into sole possession of first place in the league standings with a pair of wins this weekend. The Tigers posted two huge victories, shutting out both Southwestern University and Texas Lutheran University and outscoring the two teams 19-0.
Schreiner University, Centenary College and Texas Lutheran are tied for second place with seven total points.
The Mountaineers earned a pair of wins over SU and TLU this weekend, including a huge comback win against the Pirates on Friday. The Mountaineers scored twice in the final five minutes of the game against Southwestern to earn a 2-1 victory.
Austin College is currently fifth in the league and closed the weekend out with a win, defeating the University of Dallas in their only game last week.
Dallas and Southwestern round out the standings in sixth and seventh, respectively.
