LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - SCAC teams took a break from conference play to face some new and familiar competition this week. The league went a cumulative 12-5 over the course of the week.
Trinity University's head coach Julie Jenkins earned her 900th win in the Tigers 3-0 sweep over Sul Ross State on Friday. Trinity then tacked on another win against the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor later that evening.
Austin College traveled to La Verne, Calfornia to compete in the Leopard Invitational. The 'Roos went 3-1 on the weekend, their only loss in four sets against Whittier College.
Centenary College added two into the win column this weekend with sweeps over LeTourneau and Jarvis Christian.
Texas Lutheran University and Schreiner University took on Moravian College which ended in a win and loss, respectively. The Bulldogs also posted a 3-1 win over Concordia (Texas) on Tuesday.
