LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Four conference women's tennis teams were on the court this past week for the beginning of the spring portion of the 2017-18 season.
The four teams posted a cumulative record of 4-5, but went 4-0 against NCAA Division III competition.
Schreiner University got out to a 2-1 start to the spring season, defeating Howard Payne, Sul Ross State and Dallas Baptist. Texas Lutheran University went 1-1 over the weekend, also defeating Sul Ross State. The Bulldogs loss came to NCAA Division II #8 St. Mary's, who also defeated Trinity University.
