LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - This weekend's swim meets were highlighted by multiple first-place finishes for the Austin College 'Roos and the Trinity Tigers taking a runner-up team finish at its own Invitational against an Division II opponent.
Southwestern University, McMurry University, and Trinity all competed at the three-day Trinity Invitiational this past weekend. The Invitational featured a mix of NCAA Division level teams. The Tigers finished the weekend-long meet in second, behind Divison II Henderson State. Among the meet highlights, Trinity's Charles Clark won the 200-yard backstroke race with a career-best time of 1:51.08.
Austin College and the University of the Ozarks competed against Hendrix College in the University of the Ozarks tri-meet. The 'Roos took home a win over both teams after grabbing several first-place finishes in the meet. Collin Vu, Chris Brown, and Tyler Brown all grabbed three wins on the day.
Colorado College men finished the three-day Phoenix Fall Classic in seventh place among 12 teams.
