Colorado College's Nevo Receives SCAC Women's Cross Country Elite 19 Award

GEORGETOWN, Texas - In an announcement made at Saturday's championship meet, Colorado College's Na'ama Nevo was named the recipient of the 2022 SCAC Women's Cross Country Elite 19 award.

The SCAC Elite 19 is awarded annually to the student-athlete who has at least a cumulative 3.25 GPA, at least 60 credit hours at his or her current institution and earns All-SCAC honors for that particular season.

Nevo, a senior mathematics major from Portland, Ore., currently holds a 3.916 GPA and took All-SCAC honors with her sixth-place finish at Saturday's championship meet.

It marks the is fourth straight year a Colorado College student-athlete has won the award as Alexia Preston took home the honor following both the 2019 and 2020/21 championships and Megan Koch was honored last year.
