LINDSEY REYNOLDS AND RACHEL ROMPEL OF SCHREINER UNIVERSITY, have been selected as the SCAC Women’s Doubles Team of the Week for matched played from Monday, April 5 to Sunday, April 11.
Reynolds, a senior from Corpus Christi, Texas, and Rompel, a first-year from New Braunfels, Texas, went 2-0 on the weekend against SCAC opponents, picking up an 8-0 victory against TLU at No. 2 doubles on Friday and an 8-6 victory over St. Thomas on Saturday playing at the No. 3 line.
Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
Megan Flores and Cate Cushing of Trinity improved to 4-1 against NCAA III opponents as the Tigers' established line-one duo produced an 8-3 victory in Trinity's 8-1 victory over University of St. Thomas on Sunday. Esther Bowers and Mariana Quetzeri of Southwestern went 1-0 at No. 1 singles with an 8-2 win against LeTourneau.
