MAKAYLA FARBER OF SCHREINER UNIVERSITY, a first-year from Trenton, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Women’s Field Athlete of the Week for meets held from Monday, April 12 through Sunday, April 18.
Farber finished fourth in the long jump among all collegiate athletes at the McMurry War Hawks Classic. Her jump of 5.20 meters was a PR by over a foot, a school record and puts her tied for second in the SCAC.

Senior Makenna Bentley of Trinity won the high jump at the Texas A&M-Kingsville Cactus Cup. The high jump was contested in cold, windy, rain but she still managed to jump 1.53 meters and win off of misses.
