NATALEE TALLEY OF SCHREINER UNIVERSITY, a senior defender from San Antonio, Texas, has been named the SCAC Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for games played from Monday, September 25th through Sunday, October 1st. SCAC Women's Soccer Release (Week 5)
Talley lifted the Mountaineers to their first victory of the season last week, scoring the lone goal in a 1-0 non-conference clash against Houston-Victoria. It marked the first ever goal for Talley, who has started in 37 of the 46 matches she has appeared in during her career .
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Sophomore forward Hanna Khan of Trinity led the Tigers to a 1-1 record last week, highlighted by Friday's 4-0 win over Texas Lutheran. In the win, Khan assisted on two of Trinity's four goals including the assist on the eventual game-winning goal early in the first half.
