KATHERINE BERGERON OF SCHREINER UNIVERSITY, a first-year from San Antonio, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Women’s Tennis Player of the Week for matches played from Monday, February 5 to Sunday, February 11. SCAC Women's Tennis Release (Week 2)
Bergeron picked up the match-clinching victory in Friday's 5-4 victory over LeTourneau. Bergeron earned the hard-fought, come-from-behind 2-6, 6-2, 10-8 victory at No. 6 singles over Emma Boulanger.
Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
Sophomore Trinity Levy of Trinity clinched the team's 6-3 win over Our Lady of the Lake University in the 2024 home opener on Friday. Levy clinched at line three singles with a 6-1, 7-5 win to put Trinity ahead 5-0 at the time.
