Ross averaged 18.5 points and 14.5 rebounds per game as the Mountaineers split a pair of non-conference games over the weekend. On Saturday, he had a season-high 16 rebounds against LeTourneau paired with 15 points on 7-of-11 shooting from the field. The following day, he shot an efficient 8-of-10 from field and a perfect 6-of-6 from the free thow line while dishing out four assists in an 85-81 win against Howard Payne. 

Other ou. tstanding performances in the SCAC:
Senior guard AJ Clark of Trinity led No. 18 Trinity to a 2-1 week over the Thanksgiving Break, including victories in the team's first two home games of the season. Clark averaged a double-double for the week, scoring 17.7 points and pulling down 10.0 rebounds over the three games for the Tigers. He tied his career-high with 25 points on 9-of-14 shooting in Friday afternoon's win over McMurry, adding 13 rebounds and four assists. Clark scored or assisted on 12 of Trinity's final 18 points over the last 6:30 of the game, leading the Tigers to a comeback win. Clark scored another double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds against Hardin-Simmons to finish the weekend. Senior forward Mason Green of Texas Lutheran continued his strong start to the season, again averaging a near double-double in TLU's two games this week. He averaged 15.0 points and 9.5 rebounds per game, including his third double-double of the season - a 16-point, 14-rebound effort - in Sunday's 74-72 victory over LeTourneau. Junior forward Ricky Altamirano of St. Thomas had a stellar week as the Celts posted two more wins before heading into SCAC play. He dropped 30 points on the week (15.0 ppg) shooting an impressive 62.5 percent from the floor along with two assists. He also got it done defensively, with six rebounds and a steal. First-year Dinari Boykin of Colorado College averaged 18.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2.5 steals per game off the bench in two weekend games for the Tigers. He led CC in scoring each game and shot 50.0 percent (15-30) from the field. Junior guard Jacob Hester of Southwestern led the Pirates to the win against McMurry after his team trailed by eight points at halftime. Hester had 16 of his team-high 21 points in the second half to lead Southwestern to an 89-85 win, shooting 50.0 percent from the field, 57.1 percent from three-point range and 100.0 percent from the free throw line.Junior guard Braeden Board of Centenary scored a game-high 15 points in Saturday's 71-63 home win over Texas College, the Gents' only contest over the Thanksgiving holiday. Board was 4 of 12 from the floor in 34 minutes of action and had seven rebounds, four assists and three steals.
