KERRVILLE, Texas -- The Schreiner University Athletics Department is pleased to announce the hiring of Melanie Chandler as the new Head Coach of the Schreiner University Women's Soccer team.
After joining the coaching staff in this recent offseason, Coach Chandler will now take the reings of the Women's Soccer program and will look to steer them in a new direction for the upcoming Fall 2022 season.

About Melanie Chandler
A native of Kapolei, Hawaii, Chandler played her college career as a forward at Waldorf. She appeared in 49 games over three seasons for the Warriors (2013-2015), scoring eight goals and assisting on seven others. In 2020, she completed her Master's Degree in Organizational Leadership with a focus in Sports Management. She is certified through the National Sports Performance Association (NSPA) as a Speed & Agility Coach, and holds a USC Level 1 Goalkeeping Diploma.
Before coming to Schreiner, Coach Chandler spent 4 seasons (2018-2021) as the assistant coach at Waldorf University in Forest City, Iowa.
