Greenwood, Ind. – Trinity forward Kaity Ward has been named a College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-American for the first time in her career. The senior has now accumulated six postseason awards with this being her most recent.
Ward is the first Tiger to garner this award since 2017, when Hannah Booher was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-American First-Team. With Ward's Third-Team selection, she now becomes the ninth Women's Soccer player to be named a CoSIDA Academic All-American.
The forward finished the year with a Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference leading 19 goals and 11 assists. The senior also led the conference with goals per match (1.00). Ward also tallied six game-winners during the season.
