Senior pitcher Ashlyn Strother of Texas Lutheran returned to the circle and lifted the Bulldogs to a 10-0 win over Concordia last Tuesday, tossing six shutout innings, scattering four hits and striking out four batters. First year pitcher Megan Kriechbaum of Trinity led the Tigers to a 4-2 overall record last week, including back-to-back doubleheader sweeps against LeTourneau and La Roche. Kriechbaum picked up a win and a save in her three appearances last week, posting an ERA of 1.45 over her 9.2 innings pitched. She allowed just two runs on six hits over the three appearances. Kriechbaum threw 2.2 shutout innings in a narrow 2-1 loss to UMHB to start her week, then got the save by pitching the final two innings of a 3-2 win over LeTourneau. She closed her week with a complete-game two-hitter, allowing one run and striking out three batters in the five-inning outing.
