TONY BARBEE OF CENTENARY COLLEGE, a sophomore from Plaquemine, La., has been selected the SCAC Men’s Swimmer of the Week for performances during meets swam Monday, November 8 to Sunday, November 14. SCAC Swimming & Diving Release (Week 5)
Barbee swam a season-best time of 56.69 to win the 100-yard fly in the Gents' home meet versus Hendrix on Saturday. He also finished third in the 50-yard fly (25.82) and fourth in the 100-yard free (53.47). Barbee was also a member of a pair of relay teams that finished first and second. He teamed with three others to win the 200 medley relay (1:47.74) and was part of a team that earned a second-place finish in the 200 free relay (1:39.09).
