Cross Country - Week 8 
Conference teams wrapped up their final meets prior to the SCAC Championship meet, which is scheduled for Saturday, November 2nd. Highlights from last weekend included the Colorado College, Southwestern University and Trinity University men and women competing at the prestigious Augustana (Ill.) Invitational. The CC women took home top team honors (out of 35 teams) behind an individual title from Isabel Olson and the CC men finished 15th out of 40 teams led by Will Shuflit’s sixth-place finish. MEN'S SCHEDULE - WOMEN'S SCHEDULE 

Men's Runner of the Week - Will Shuflit, Colorado College
Will Shuflit of Colorado College, a sophomore from Park City, Utah, has been selected the SCAC Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week for meets ran Friday, October 18 and Saturday, October 19.  Full Release  

Women's Runner of the Week - Isabel Olson, Colorado College
Isabel Olson of Colorado College, a senior from Middlebury, Vt., has been selected the SCAC Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week for meets ran Friday, October 18 and Saturday, October 19.  Full Release  


Football - Week 7
A battle for first place in the SCAC football standings will take place this weekend as McMurry (4-2, 4-0) travels to take on Texas Lutheran (5-1, 4-1) this weekend in Seguin. Last weekend TLU knocked off Austin College (1-6, 1-4) at home, while Centenary (3-4, 3-2) moved above .500 in league play with a thrilling win over Lyon (1-6, 0-5), 28-21. Offensive Player of the Week - Caden Bosanko, Texas Lutheran University
Caden Bosanko of Texas Lutheran University, a junior quarterback from San Antonio, Texas, has been named the SCAC Football Offensive Player of the Week for games played Saturday, October 19. Full Release

Defensive Player of the Week - Jacob Wilson, Centenary College
Jacob Wilson of McMurry University, a first-year defensive back from Shreveport, La., has been named the SCAC Football Defensive Player of the Week for games played Saturday, October 19. Full Release 

Special Teams Player of the Week - Vance Feuerbacher, Centenary College
Vance Feuerbacher of Centenary College, a sophomore placekicker/punter from Plano, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Football Special Teams Player-of-the-Week for games played Saturday, October 19. It is the second consecutive week he has won the honor. Full Release 


Golf - Week 6
It was a full weekend of golf action as the fall portion of the schedule is coming to a close. Centenary, Concordia (TX), McMurry, Schreiner, Southwestern and Texas Lutheran sent both programs to compete at the Hardin-Simmons/Bash at the Bend Tournament. The Pirates were the top SCAC finisher on both the men’s and women’s side staking claim to the team title in both tournaments thanks in part to medalist honors by Ryleigh Erickson on the women’s side and Matthew Peesker on the men’s side. Five SCAC men’s programs and four women’s programs will compete this week at the UD Crusader Cup, hosted by Dallas. MEN'S SCHEDULE - WOMEN'S SCHEDULE

Men's Golfer of the Week - Matthew Peesker, Southwestern University
Matthew Peesker of Southwestern University, a senior from Toronto, Onterio, Canada, has been selected the SCAC Men’s Golfer-of-the-Week for competition played from Sunday, October 13 through Tuesday, October 22.  Full Release  

Women's Golfer of the Week - Ryleigh Erickson, Southwestern University
Ryleigh Erickson of Southwestern University, a graduate student from McAllen, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Women’s Golfer-of-the-Week for competition played from Monday, October 21 through Tuesday, October 22.  Full Release  


Men's Soccer - Week 8
Going into the final two weekends of regular season action, Trinity (Tex.) (12-0-2, 7-0-0) and Colorado College (12-1-2, 7-0-0) sit tied atop the league standings and remain the lone squads unbeaten in league play. The CC Tigers are currently riding a 16-game unbeaten streak in SCAC regular season play dating back to October of 2021. Conference play continues this week with six fixtures scheduled for Friday and six more on Sunday. STANDINGS - SCHEDULE - STATSISTICS

Jose Aguirre of Concordia University (Texas), a senior forward from Oceanside, Calif., has been named the SCAC Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for games played from Monday, October 14th through Sunday, October 20th. Full Release

JonConnor Rule of Trinity University, a graduate student defender from San Antonio, Texas, has been named the SCAC Men’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for games played from Monday, October 14th through Sunday, October 20th. Full Release  


Women's Soccer - Week 8
While Trinity (10-1-2, 6-0-0) remains atop the league standings with a perfect SCAC record, only three points separates second and fifth on the conference table. Southwestern (7-5-1, 5-1-0) currently sits in second (15 points), while Concordia (TX) (6-6-2, 4-1-1) and McMurry (7-5-1, 4-1-1) are tied for third (13 points) and Texas Lutheran (8-5-1, 4-2-0) rounds out the top five in fifth with 12 points. The penultimate weekend of SCAC soccer action gets underway on Friday with five fixtures and then five more on Sunday. STANDINGS - SCHEDULE - STATISTICS

Swimming & Diving - Week 2 
Five programs were in action last week as Colorado College, Southwestern and Trinity all got their seasons underway. The CC Tigers made a Texas swing competing in dual meets against both Southwestern and Trinity, while McMurry and Centenary also squared off in a dual meet. Swimming continues this week as Austin College heads to Arkansas to compete at the Hendrix relays, Centenary will face Millsaps in a dual and St. Thomas hosts McMurry and Southwestern for a tri-meet. MEN'S SCHEDULE - WOMEN'S SCHEDULE

Men's Swimmer of the Week - Andrew Colgan, Colorado College

Volleyball - Week 8
Southwestern (17-2, 8-1) and Trinity (15-6, 8-1) continue to pace the way in the Gold Division, while Colorado College (12-8, 7-2) stands alone at the top of the Bule Division as we head into the final three weekend of regular season action. Six matches are on the schedule going into the weekend, highlighted by Southwestern taking on Trinity on Friday and Colorado College squaring off with McMurry (10-9, 5-4) on Saturday.
