SUWANEE, Ga. -- SCAC weekly releases for the week spanning from Monday, September 30th to Tuesday, October 8th.

Cross Country - Week 6 
It was a full week of SCAC Cross Country action with nine of the 11 programs competing, highlighted by seven program racing at the DBU Old Glory Gallup. On the men’s side, Trinity paced all league teams with an eighth-place finish out of 41 squads, while Colorado College took second at its home Ted Castaneda Classic meet. The Trinity women also paced all league teams at the DBU Old Glory Gallup, finishing 12th of 46 teams and the CC women secured first in the Ted Castaneda Classic. The SCAC cross country schedule continues this week, headlined by St. Thomas, Texas Lutheran, Schreiner and Trinity all racing at the OLLU/West Side Classic. MEN'S SCHEDULE - WOMEN'S SCHEDULE 

Men's Runner of the Week - Will Salony, Trinity University
Will Salony of Trinity University, a senior from Dallas, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week for meets ran Friday, October 4 and Saturday, October 5.  Full Release  

Women's Runner of the Week - Breanna Steele, Southwestern University
Breanna Steele of Southwestern University, a junior from Happy Valley, Ore., has been selected the SCAC Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week for meets ran Friday, October 4 and Saturday, October 5.  Full Release  


Football - Week 5
Texas Lutheran (4-1, 3-1) and Centenary (2-3, 2-1) both secured league wins last week in SCAC Football action last Saturday, defeating Austin College (0-5, 0-3) and Lyon (1-4, 0-3) respectively. Two league games are scheduled for this upcoming Saturday as McMurry (3-1, 3-0) returns from its bye to take on Centenary on the road and Austin College travels to Arkansas to take on Lyon. Offensive Player of the Week - Zin'Tavious Smith, Centenary College
Zin'Tavious Smith of Centenary College, a junior quarterback from Coushatta, La., has been named the SCAC Football Offensive Player of the Week for games played Saturday, October 5. Full Release

Defensive Player of the Week - Vance Feuerbacher, Centenary College
Vance Feuerbacher of Centenary College, a sophomore linebacker from Plano, Texas, has been named the SCAC Football Defensive Player of the Week for games played Saturday, October 5. Full Release 

Special Teams Player of the Week - Eugene Robinson IV, Texas Lutheran University
Eugene Robinson IV of Texas Lutheran University, a senior wide receiver from Lake Charles, La., has been selected the SCAC Football Special Teams Player-of-the-Week for games played Saturday, October 5. Full Release 


Golf - Week 4
It was a full week of SCAC Golf with six men’s programs and four women’s programs hitting the links for competition. The Trinity men emerged the top league school out of four at the Trinity/Alamo Classic finishing second, while McMurry was the top finisher at the USW Fall Invite, taking home fifth. In women’s action, Trinity also paced all SCAC squads at the Trinity/Alamo Classic, winning the event by an impressive 27 strokes. Men's Golfer of the Week - Rex Soulliere, University of Dallas
Rex Soulliere of University of Dallas, a senior from Omaha, Neb., has been selected the SCAC Men’s Golfer-of-the-Week for competition played from Sunday, October 6 through Tuesday, October 8.  Full Release  

Women's Golfer of the Week - Jessica Mason, Trinity University
Jessica Mason of Trinity University, a junior from Westminster, Colo., has been selected the SCAC Women’s Golfer-of-the-Week for competition played from Sunday, October 6 through Tuesday, October 8.  Full Release  


Men's Soccer - Week 6
Through two weeks of SCAC Men’s Soccer action, Trinity (8-0-2, 3-0-0) and Colorado College (8-1-2, 3-0-0) sit tied atop the league table with nine points apiece. Southwestern (7-0-2, 2-0-1) sits in third with seven points, Concordia (5-2-3, 2-1-0) is fourth with six points and Texas Lutheran (5-0-3, 1-0-2) the final remaining unbeaten team in league play rounds out the top five in fifth with five points on the league table. League action returns on Friday with six fixtures on the schedule, including TLU taking on Trinity in San Antonio, Concordia hosting Colorado College and Centenary (5-4-1, 1-2-0) on the road at Austin College (3-7-2, 1-1-1). Noah Harris of Texas Lutheran University, a senior defender from Missouri City, Texas, has been named the SCAC Men’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for games played from Monday, September 30th through Sunday, October 6th. Full Release  


Women's Soccer - Week 6
The first week of conference play in SCAC Women’s Soccer action is complete as Trinity (6-1-2, 2-0-0), Texas Lutheran (6-3-1, 2-0-0) and Southwestern (4-4-1, 2-0-0) all remained unbeaten in league play. This year marks the 16th-straight season Trinity has opened SCAC play unbeaten through two fixtures, while it marks the third time in the last four seasons the Pirates and second-straight year for the Bulldogs to get off to a perfect 2-0-0 start in SCAC play. Conference action continues this week with five fixtures scheduled for Friday and five more on Sunday. STANDINGS - SCHEDULE - STATISTICS

Offensive Player of the Week - Samantha Hazen, Southwestern University
Samantha Hazen of Southwestern University, a senior forward from Northbridge, Mass., has been named the SCAC Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for games played from Monday, September 30th through Sunday, October 6th. Full Release

Volleyball - Week 6
Austin College (15-1, 5-0) and Southwestern (13-1, 4-0) remained unbeaten in league play and sit atop the Blue and Gold Divisions respectively going into the second weekend of October. The ‘Roos are currently riding a seven-game winning streak, while the Pirates winning streak currently sits at six. For Austin College it marks the longest such streak since the 2017 season. A big weekend of league action is on the horizon as 16 conference matches are schedule starting on Friday with two, Saturday with 10 and Sunday with four. STANDINGS - SCHEDULE - STATISTICS
