Men's Basketball - Week 1
Nine of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Men’s Basketball teams kicked off the 2024-25 season this past week, posting an impressive overall record of 11-4, highlighted by Colorado College, Schreiner, Trinity, Ozarks and St. Thomas (Tex.) all remaining unbeaten. Non-Conference competition continues this week as Concordia (Tex.), McMurry and Southwestern all open their respective campaigns. STANDINGS - SCHEDULE - STATISTICS

Player of the Week - Kamden Ross, Schreiner University
Kamden Ross of Schreiner University, a senior center from Cibolo, Texas, has been named the SCAC Men’s Basketball Player-of-the-Week for games played from Friday, November 8 through Sunday, November 10. Full Release   


Women's Basketball - Week 1
The 2024-25 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Women’s Basketball season got underway last week with nine of the 12 league teams in action, combining to post an opening weekend record of 5-7, highlighted by Concordia (Tex.) and St. Thomas (Tex.) both remaining undefeated. Non-conference competition continues this week as both Austin College and Colorado College will open their respective seasons on Friday night. STANDINGS - SCHEDULE - STATISTICS

Player of the Week - Destiny Mathews, Concordia University (Tex.) 
Destiny Mathews of Concordia University (Tex.), a graduate student forward from Palestine, Texas, has been named the SCAC Women’s Basketball Player-of-the-Week for games played from Friday, November 8 through Sunday, November 10. Full Release


Football - Week 10
Texas Lutheran (8-1, 7-1) claimed at least a share of the SCAC Title last weekend after defeating Centenary (4-5, 4-3), 46-23, to finish out the conference portion of its schedule with just one loss. McMurry (6-3, 6-1), who defeated Lyon (1-8, 0-7), 28-0, can also claim a share of the title if they are able to hold off the Gents this upcoming weekend at home in Abilene. The other two final regular season contests of the season features Austin College (1-8, 1-6) hosting Lyon in SCAC play and TLU closing out with a non-conference contest at home against Southwestern. STANDINGS - SCHEDULE - STATISTICS

Trinity and Colorado College Punch NCAA Tournament Tickets
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Regular Season Co-Champion and Tournament Champion Trinity University (17-0-3) earned its second-straight berth into the 64-team NCAA Div. III Men's Soccer Tournament, while Co-Regular Season Champion Colorado College (15-2-3) earned its second-straight berth in the tournament field via one of the 21 at-large bids. Full Release | NCAA Release | Tournament Bracket  

Trinity Men Win SCAC Soccer Title 
HOUSTON, Texas -- Trinity University earned its first SCAC Men's Soccer Tournament title since 2018, taking a hard-fought 4-2 victory over three-time defending champion University of St. Thomas Sunday evening at Sabercats Stadium. Full Release

Trinity to Face Cal-Lutheran in NCAA D3 Women's Soccer Tournament First Round
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference regular season and tournament champion Trinity University (16-1-2) has earned its 15th-straight berth into the 64-team NCAA Div. Trinity Women's Soccer Earn Fifth Straight SCAC Title With 1-0 Overtime Win Over Texas Lutheran
HOUSTON, Texas -- Trinity University captured its fifth-straight SCAC Tournament title and 14th in program history with Sunday's 1-0 double overtime victory over Texas Lutheran University at SaberCats Stadium. Full Release


Swimming & Diving - Week 5 
A number of dual meets took place in the pool last weekend as men’s highlights included Southwestern defeating Austin College, McMurry knocking off Ozarks and Trinity taking down St. Thomas. Trinity also sent a number of swimmers to the D3 Shootout in Chicago and took home fourth out of 10 teams. On the women’s side it was the Pirates besting the ‘Roos, the Eagles defeating the War Hawks and the Tigers prevailing against the Celts. Trinity also sent a number of women’s athletes to the D3 Shootout, finishing sixth out of 10 teams.
