INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Trinity University senior forward Michaela Bosco has been awarded a prestigious NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship, recognizing her outstanding academic and athletic achievements. Bosco, a standout on and off the field, is one of only 21 female student-athletes nationwide to receive the $10,000 scholarship for the fall sports season.
The NCAA annually awards up to 126 postgraduate scholarships to student-athletes who excel both academically and athletically, providing financial support for their continued education in an accredited graduate program. Bosco's recognition cements her legacy as one of the top scholar-athletes in Division III women's soccer.
A decorated student-athlete, Bosco was named a Third Team Academic All-American® this year, following a First Team selection in 2022. She is a three-time Academic All-District® honoree and was chosen for the United Soccer Coaches Academic All-Region team in 2023 and 2024, adding a Scholar All-American award from the United Soccer Coaches this past season. Bosco was the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Elite 19 academic award winner in 2023, further underscoring her academic prowess. Additionally, she earned a spot on the SCAC Academic Honor Roll in each of her four seasons with the Tigers.
On the field, Bosco has been a dominant force for Trinity University, earning First Team All-SCAC honors in three consecutive seasons. She was recently named to the United Soccer Coaches All-Region First Team for the second time and secured her third straight All-Region selection. Earlier this year, she was recognized as a Fourth Team United Soccer Coaches All-American after leading her team with 17 total assists, ranking third in Division III in total assists and seventh in assists per game.
Under the leadership of Head Coach Dylan Harrison, Bosco played a pivotal role in Trinity's successful 2023 season. The Tigers went undefeated in SCAC play, claiming both the regular-season and tournament titles. Their impressive run continued into the NCAA Playoffs, where they advanced to the Quarterfinals for the first time since 2016, finishing the season with an 18-2-3 overall record.
