Cross Country - Week 7
The SCAC Cross Country season is heading into the final weekend tune up prior to the conference championship meet on November 2nd. Last weekend’s highlights included the St. Thomas men taking home third-place in the Our Lady of the Lake University/West Side Classic, while on the women’s side of things Trinity was the top SCAC finisher finishing fourth. Ozarks hosted its own invitational, winning the event on the women’s side, while Dallas paced all SCAC schools in the men’s race, finishing third. MEN'S SCHEDULE - WOMEN'S SCHEDULE
Men's Runner of the Week - Alexander Bozhilov, University of Dallas
Alexander Bozhilov of University of Dallas, a first-year from Sofia, Bulgaria, has been selected the SCAC Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week for meets ran Friday, October 11 and Saturday, October 12. It marks the third time this season Bozhilov has taken the weekly honor. Full Release
Women's Runner of the Week - Emily Gnecco, Trinity University
Emily Gnecco of Trinity University, a junior from Livermore, Calif., has been selected the SCAC Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week for meets ran Friday, October 11 and Saturday, October 12. Full Release
Football - Week 6
The SCAC Football season continued last week as McMurry (4-1, 4-0) and Austin College (1-5, 1-4) secured key league wins, defeating Centenary (2-4, 2-2) and Lyon (1-5, 0-4) respectively. The War Hawks tied an SCAC record with 18 tackles for loss, led by senior Kane Strohman with 6.5, while Barrett Hudson led the way for the ‘Roos, rushing for 240 yards and three touchdowns on just 11 carries. League action continues this week as Texas Lutheran (4-1, 3-1) returns from a bye to take on Austin College in Sherman and Lyon hosts Centenary . STANDINGS - SCHEDULE - STATISTICS

Golf - Week 5
It was a light week in SCAC Fall Golf action with just three teams in action on the women’s side and two programs taking to the links on the men’s side. Trinity finished tied for 15th, while Southwestern placed 21st in a very competitive Golfweek Invitational field, while the Pirates placed eighth in the same event on the men’s side. SCAC Golf continues this week with a number of programs competing at the Hardin-Simmons/Abilene Intercollegiate, including Concordia, Centenary, McMurry, Southwestern and Texas Lutheran. Men's Soccer - Week 7
The race for the SCAC Men’s Soccer regular season title is heating up through three week of conference play as both Trinity (10-0-2, 5-0-0) and Colorado College (10-1-2, 5-0-0) sit tied atop the table with 15 points and remain the lone unbeaten squads in SCAC play. Just three points separate St. Thomas (7-4-0, 3-2-0), currently sitting in third with nine points, and three teams (Centenary, Concordia & Ozarks) tied for seventh with six going into a full weekend of action that features six fixtures on Friday and six more on Sunday. Women's Soccer - Week 7
Trinity continues to lead after two full weekend of conference play as the Tigers sit with an unblemished 4-0-0 conference mark (8-1-2 overall). Southwestern (5-5-1, 3-1-0) and Texas Lutheran (7-4-1, 3-1-0) are tied in second, while McMurry (6-5-1, 2-1-1) and Concordia (4-6-2, 2-1-1) round out the top five tied in fourth. Swimming & Diving - Week 1
The 2024-25 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Swimming & Diving season got underway with five programs in action on both the men’s and women’s side. Austin College, Centenary, McMurry, Ozarks and St. Thomas all dove into the water to open the year, while Colorado College, Trinity and Southwestern all open their season this week. Volleyball - Week 7
Southwestern (15-2, 6-1), Texas Lutheran (13-5, 6-1) and Trinity (13-6, 6-1) sit tied atop the lead in the Gold Division, while Colorado College (10-8, 6-2) leads the way in the Blue Division following a full weekend of SCAC Volleyball action. The CC Tigers handed Southwestern its first loss in conference play last weekend and have now won six of their last eight matches.
