BOSSIER CITY, La. - In an announcement made at Saturday's championship meet, Colorado College's Liz White was named the recipient of the 2024 SCAC Women's Cross Country Elite 19 award.
The SCAC Elite 19 is awarded annually to the student-athlete who has at least a cumulative 3.25 GPA, at least 60 credit hours at his or her current institution and earns All-SCAC honors for that particular season.
White, a Molecular Biology major from Avon, Ohio, currently holds a 4.00 GPA and took home All-SCAC honors for the third consecutive season with her 13th-place finish at Saturday’s championship meet.
It marks the sixth straight year a Colorado College student-athlete has won the award as Alexia Preston took home the honor following both the 2019 and 2020/21 championships, Megan Koch was honored in 2021, Na’ama Nevo secured recognition in 2022 and Eliot Singer earned Elite 19 accolades last year.
