SUWANEE, Ga. -- McMurry University senior wide receiver Kristopher Martin was named to the D3Football.com Team of the Week for week 11 of the 2024 season.
Martin had 13 catches for 212 yards and four touchdowns - all from War Hawks quarterback Jess Hoel - in Saturday's 49-12 season-ending conference win over Centenary, which wrapped up a share of the SCAC regular season title. Martin finished the season with 1,024 yards receiving - the eight-most in a single-season in SCAC history - and broke the program record for career receptions with 204.
Earlier this week, Martin was also named SCAC Offensive Player of the Week.
The Team of the Week is D3football.com's weekly honor roll, in its 26th season of recognizing the top performance at each position from the previous week. Players are selected from nominations from their school's sports information directors.
Martin’s selection marks the 12th time this season an SCAC athlete has been honored on the National Team of the Week. He is also the different War Hawk to be recognized, joining Kane Strohman who earned accolades in October and Jax Rodriguez back in September.
