KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Trinity University women's soccer players Lauryn Lewis and Michaela Bosco have both been selected for the United Soccer Coaches All-America Teams. Full Release
Lewis was selected to the United Soccer Coaches Third Team, while Bosco earned a spot on the Fourth Team. Both players were named All-Americans for the first time in their careers and they push Trinity's women's soccer's total to 31 All-Americans in program history. The Tigers won both the regular season and tournament championships in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference, then advance to the NCAA Quarterfinals for the first time since the 2016 season.
Bosco picked up her third United Soccer Coaches All-Region award earlier this week, earning First Team honors in 2022 and 2024, and getting a spot on the Third Team in 2023. She has also made the All-SCAC First Team each of the past three seasons and was the SCAC Tournament Offensive Most Valuable Player in both 2022 and 2024. Lewis was also a First Team All-Region selection in 2022 and 2024, as well as picking up three All-SCAC awards. This season was her first time on the All-SCAC First Team and she was also the SCAC Tournament Defensive Most Valuable Player in 2022 and 2024.
Head Coach Dylan Harrison wrapped up his ninth season at his alma mater this season, returning this year's team to the NCAA Quarterfinals for the first time since his first year back with the Tigers. Trinity finished with an 18-2-3 overall record and a 10-0-0 SCAC record in 2024. Coach Harrison has now won 152 games over nine years at Trinity, while also compiling 226 victories over 19 seasons as a head coach.
The two SCAC selections mark the, 73rd and 74th individual All-American accolades in SCAC women’s soccer history and the first since 2022.
Lewis and Bosco will be recognized for their accomplishments at the United Soccer Coaches All-America Ceremony on Saturday, January 11, 2025 in Chicago, Ill., in conjunction with the United Soccer Coaches Convention.
