Boyle lifted the Crusaders into a spot for the upcoming SCAC Tournament with a pair of wins over Ozarks and Centenary at home to close out the regular season. Boyle averaged 15.0 points on a spectacular 70.6 percent shooting and grabbed an astounding 19.5 rebounds per game, including a 22-rebound performance in the win over the Gents. Boyle, who leads the SCAC in assists per game, also added 5.0 assists per game, swiped 3.0 steals per contest and blocked 4.0 shots per night. Boyle’s efforts have helped Dallas rattle off five-straight wins to close out the regular season to clinch a spot in the conference tournament, the lonest win streak for the program since the 2018-19 season and the lonest such streak of conference only contests in program history in the SCAC.

Sophomore guard Jamien June of Austin College had a huge weekend to lift the ‘Roos to a 2-0 record to close out the year with home wins over Centenary and Ozarks, averaging 25.5 points, 4.0 assists, and 4.0 rebounds while shooting 57.7 percent from the field and 61.5 percent from long range (8-of-13). June wrapped up the weekend with a career-high 35 points to help the 'Roos earn a big victory over Ozarks in the team's final game of the year. Junior guard Quentin Beverly of Centenary finished an impressive season over the weekend with his 15th and 16th double-figure scoring performances of the season with 21 points in each game - on Friday at Austin College and on Saturday in the season finale at Dallas. He finished the season scoring 20+ points in seven of his last 12 games and reached double digits in nine-consecutive games. He added eight rebounds, four assists, a steal, and hit four treys. Senior forward Devin Philio of Colorado College closed out the regular season strong, leading the Tigers against Schreiner and Trinity, averaging 11.5 points on 66.7 percent shooting and added 5.0 rebounds, 3.0 blocks and 2.5 steals per game. Junior guard Joey Ramirez of Concordia was outstanding last week, leading the Tornados to a 2-1 record with wins at home over Southwestern and Texas Lutheran. Ramirez averaged 27.7 points per game on 50.8 percent shooting, including 64.3 percent from three-point range. Additionally, he averaged 10.7 rebounds per game and posted a pair of double-doubles, dished out 2.3 assists per contest and swiped 1.3 steals per game. Senior guard Matt Pena of McMurry led the War Hawks to three wins last weekend to close out the regular season. Pena averaged 17.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.7 steals and 1.3 assists per game in the three victories. Junior guard Mario Johnson of Schreiner delivered a season-high 10 points in the Mountaineers two-point win at Colorado College on Friday, highlighted by the game-winning assist. He also added five rebounds, two assists and one steal in the win over the Tigers. First-year guard Nathan Kongolo of St. Thomas was key in the Celts closing out the regular season with a pair of wins over Trinity and Schreiner to secure the SCAC Blue Division title. Kongolo averaged 11.5 points on 52.9 percent shooting and added 4.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 0.5 steals and blocks per game while only turning the ball over once in 69 minutes of action over the two wins. Sophomore forward Teddy Tapken of Texas Lutheran was elite in the final two Bulldog contest of the season, leading TLU by averaging 23.0 points on a remarkable 76.0 percent shooting. Tapken also added 4.5 rebounds, 1.0 steals and 1.0 assists per game. Senior forward Ty Williams of Trinity led the Tigers to a road weekend split to close out the regular season, falling to St. Thomas before finishing with a win over Colorado College. Williams finished with 18.5 points per game and shot 63.6 percent (14-of-22) over the two games. He finished the weekend with a 22-point effort that included a 7-for-7 performance at the foul line to lead the Tigers to victory over Colorado College.
