ANNABEL ANDERSON OF THE UNIVERSITY OF DALLAS, a sophomore outfielder from Midlothian, Texas, has been named the SCAC Softball Hitter of the Week for games played from Monday, March 15 through Sunday, March 21.
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Freshman catcher Brenna Ruether of St. Thomas batted .571 last week to help lift the Celts to a three-game series sweep of Centenary. Ruether finished the series with eight hits, seven RBI, three doubles, one triple, one home run, one run scored and slugged 1.143. Senior utility player Rebecca Snow of Texas Lutheran hit .714 over two games as the Bulldogs went 1-1 against the NAIA’s University of Houston - Victoria. Snow was 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI in the 7-5 loss. She was 3-for-3 with two runs scored, a double, a triple, and an RBI in the 8-0 victory. Her slugging percentage for the two games was 1.286.
