Avery Seaman, University of Dallas, Offensive Player of the Week (Week 1)

AVERY SEAMAN OF THE UNIVERSITY OF DALLAS, a freshman forward from Bedford, Texas, has been named the SCAC Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for games played through Sunday, February 28th. 

Seaman rang home her first career goal in her collegiate debut in the 69th minute to lift Dallas to a 1-0 victory over Schreiner last Saturday. The win marked the first time since the 2012 season that the Crusaders have opened the year with a victory.
 

Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Sophomore midfielder Yosi Bouslog of Centenary scored an insurance marker in the 85th minute to help lead the Ladies to a 3-0 win over St. Thomas in the conference opener for both. It was the first career goal for Bouslog. Senior forward Maya Fuller of Southwestern scored the game-winning goal in the Pirates’ 3-1 win over Texas Lutheran last Sunday. Sophomore midfielder Cassie Bowers of Trinity scored the game-winning goal in Saturday’s season-opener for the Tigers in the 35th minute against Austin College.
